After School Enrichments for All Ages!
Hello Dear Friends,
For our new friends, welcome to Summit and for our returning friends, welcome back! We are looking forward to a wonderful year together.
This program offers a variety of arts, music, dance, and sports to enhance our children’s academic, physical & social experience. In addition, these classes are offered on campus and aftercare is included on the days that classes are taken. It’s a convenience for our parents and an enjoyment for our students, who get to enjoy these classes with their classmates in a familiar setting. Our instructors and classes are outstanding and classes have been well attended.
The calendar shows classes for Toddlers – 3 yrs of age in the 2nd column and activities for Pre-Primary/Kindergarten students (ages 3-6) and Elementary students (Grades 1st-6th) in the remaining 3 columns. Please note that we are offering dance classes in Ballet, Tap/Jazz and Hip Hop for 12 weeks which helps the classes prepare for the Holiday Recital in December. The added benefit is more weeks of dance with fewer interruptions and for less money! All other classes are 8 week sessions.
This academic year we have some very exciting additions! We will continue with organized Soccer as part of the YMCA Soccer League (please see soccer flyer). Registration must be done at Summit to receive the special price and assure assignment to the Summit Team. We have Kindertots® for our Toddler friends. This is a pre-ballet and pre-tap class designed to develop the total child through gross motor skills, movement creativity, physical development and body awareness while learning & reinforcing numbers, colors, shapes and songs. Ms. Rachel, our beloved Art Teacher, will be extending her art instruction into the after school enrichment Art classes. We have a nationally recognized golf program, The Better Golf Academy, joining us this year and in Cheerleading we have a nationally award-winning college cheerleader, Kendall Canaan as our new Cheerleading Coach. To enroll complete the enrollment form in your orientation packet and return it with payment to Ms. Bari in the Business office. Please make checks out to Summit Private School. A full calendar with prices will be in your orientation packet.
