A Year of Outstanding Firsts at Summit!
What an outstanding year we have had so far in the area of enrichments! We had the first performance of our Summit Private School Orchestra at the Holiday program, which included 1st-5th graders. The students under Miss Xiomara’s direction performed beautifully and trully impressed all who were present.
Team Sports have brought our families together on the weekends at the YMCA of Boca Raton. We have had a wonderful time cheering on our soccer, basketball and flag football teams. Special thanks go out to Alicia Tanner Donelan, Coach Roudy & Jamie Smith for kicking off our Soccer teams, Coach Roudy & Dr. Susan for coaching basketball and Coach Roudy, Dr. Mike, Gary Rose and Matt Herron for coaching flag football. Our 4 year olds and up have had a great time and the parents have been a great support.
We added Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop to our After School Enrichment program with Ms. Wesa. These dancers were a big hit at our Holiday Program and are bound to please the crowds again in our Spring Musical Recital. Ms. Wesa has been a big help with productions and she did a great service at our Heart-to-Heart Gift Giving Party. We look forward to the Spring Musical Recital where parents, families and friends enjoy the performances of all our orchestra, ensemble, private music and dance students.
Our golf class has grown with Total Golf Adventures, and our Ballet, Gymnastics, Art, Music and Karate classes continue to thrive. Miss Lois is doing a wonderful job with our pottery classes and students will be displaying their pieces at the Boca Community Center and our Students’ for World Peace Day celebration in the next few months. We are very pleased with our amazing After School Enrichment instructors and the quality of the classes being offered.
