Ms. Crystal and Ms Elsa’s Class

Dear Parents:

November has gone by so quickly! I would like to thank everyone for their participation in all our activities thus far this year. It is heartwarming to witness the love and support you show to the program day in and day out. December is upon us and what a busy month it will be! Here is some of what we will be learning in December :

Topics of “Line Time”: Holidays around the world, Intro to Biosphere & Overview of living things and direction. Into to: land forms, Our Continent, Our Neighboring countries, animals, landmarks and people of North America and Peacemakers.

ART: create snow scene, paper chains, make holiday gifts for parents.

COOKING: Graham cracker house,

SCIENCE: Clay land form demonstration

SIGN LANGUAGE: Alphabet letters A-Z, greetings

YOGA POSE: Peace Nomaste

POET: Gabriel Setoun (Jack Frost)

In December we will be having a class book exchange, the children are asked to bring in a wrapped book for a friend to exchange for the holidays. We are asking that you only sign the book “from” your child and not address it to any specific child for this will be a random exchange of gifts so all of the children are included. The book needs to be age appropriate (3-6 yrs) and child friendly (see Ms. Crystal or Ms. Elsa for suggestions). The wrapped book needs to be in by Wed. Dec. 19th .

Upcoming Events:

Dec. 4th : Our class visits the scholastic book fair.

Dec. 4th : Parent Ed Night (language) 6:30-8:30 pm

Dec.14th : Holiday Program Preschool/K 6:00pm-7:00pm
