Summit School Bulletin Board

Hello Dear Summit Families,
 

We are entering into our last After School Enrichment Session!  Where has the time gone? It has been so wonderful watching the children enjoying their classes. 
 

We will continue to offer Karate, Hands-On Pottery, Private Music Lessons, Science, Gymnastics, Music, Ballet, Golf, Art & Tennis. (Please note that Tennis and Art will only run 7 weeks so the cost is reduced).
                   
Here’s What’s New!  For Elementary students ages 8 & up- Fencing hopefully you saw the flyer in your Friday Folder.  The class will be offered on Tuesdays & Wednesdays 3:30-4:45pm (2 ½ hrs/wk) and the cost is $195.  The 8 spots are already spoken for, but a waiting list is being formed in case payment is not received or a 2^nd class can be created.
                                
For Preschool students ages 3-6- Mad Science is back with a hands-on lab experience just right for this age.  Students will be studying matter, heat, minerals and other exciting topics!  If you’ve wanted to experience our Science classes but haven’t yet, this would be a great time to start. This class is offered on Tuesdays 3:15-4:15pm.
 

Also for Preschool students ages 4-5 Miss Leah is adding a Hands-On Pottery Class just for you!  In this pottery and sculpting class, students will learn the basic techniques of pinching, coiling and hand building with lay.  Miss Leah has been teaching pottery classes privately and now brings her expertise and talent to our After-School Enrichment program.  The class will be on Thursdays from 3:00pm – 3:45pm, cost $165.
 

                    
For our Ballet and Private Music & Orchestra Students there will be a Spring Performance (date and time to be arranged).  We are eager to find & create opportunities for our ballerinas and musicians to share their talents and warm our hearts.  Watch your Friday folder for announcements on performances.
                                                       
Please note that Cheerleading and Yoga will not be offered this session. 
                
Please complete the enrollment form on the back and return it with your check to Dr. Susan or Angie by Tuesday, March 20^th.  Your prompt reply is so appreciated to make sure the instructors have accurate rosters and the necessary materials/equipment ready for your child to have the best experience possible.
